JOINING ORSAR:

THIS IS A VOLUNTEER ROLE THAT REQUIRES COMMITMENT, TRAINING AND AVAILABILITY FOR CALLOUTS.

Opportunity Regional Search and Rescue is made up of trained volunteers who are ready to step in when communities and public need it most. 

We are looking for people who are dependable, willing to learn, and able to work as part of a diverse team in challenging conditions.  No previous SAR experience is required...just a strong work ethic and a commitment to training and response.

Members are expected to participate in regular training, maintain readiness, and be available for callouts when possible.

What we expect:

• Regular training participation

• Ability to work in remote and physically demanding environments

• Commitment to team operations
